Athletics day

This year on Friday the 10th of November we had our athletics day at our school field. Everyone from years 1 - 8 got into their year level line. The house colours were green, yellow, red and blue. We all were sitting on the count waiting for us to be called to go to our station.

First we have softball throw once we finish playing softball throw we went to play a game where you Jump over some steroids then  Zig Zag through the poles. Only one person at a time while playing this game. The winners of this game was the green  which I’m in. Next was we went of Dodge ball which was a fun game to play. If you don’t know how to play dodge ball it's where you go down and when they say go you get up and run and try get a ball on the line so that you can hit someone with it .

My Favourite thing at athletics was high jump for those that don’t know what high jump is well high jump is where there is a big mat like a bed for you too fall on once you jump over this long pole once you have made it over you will walk over to the middle. After when you have made the high jump you move on to the next level but if the pole gets higher and higher it mean it starts to get harder and harder.

My second favourite Station was doing sprints. If you haven't did sprints before well doing sprints is just like running but you're running as fast as you can in your own lines.After you have raced and you came 1st 2nd 3nd then you go to the next race with all the other fast girls . The top 3 will go to interzones.

This years Athletics was really a fun time to enjoy and have a go. I had a fantastic time at our school athletics. I am looking forward for next years athletics as it is going to be my last athletics at Pt england school.

Introduction : Brand new start to the year, we were going to talk about being in team 5 how did it feel like what was it like in team 5. Well as you can see team 5 was like being in a bigger year with like the year 9’s or maybe year 8’s too.

Information : Back at pt england school in term 1 we were learning about Finish ALL our work of properly. But that was all back in term 1 it was really good learning in class we have to finish all our work of properly so once we were getting up to term 2 we have already finished back in term 1.

Information : Once term 1 was pass term 2 came by so we stayed in our home class’s learning all about our youself. Then meeting students form year 8 learning about what our self is about

Information : Team 5 well team 5 was a big class when we would always come to the street every morning seeing what would we have in the morning. Team 5 started off with a strong start to the year that's why we all had to Show what awesome looks like for team 5 .

Conclusion : As  a year 7 in team 5 I have become more open and out going too strive to succeed which is is our Pt England school motto. I will finish off with my own motto, participation is my key to success.

Winter Learning Journey All about the New Zealand Flag

This is my New Zealand flag that I made what in inspired me was that the 4 stars that are red means to me that its a cross for the people that pass away for us in the war. The next one is the 4 yellow stars it stands for a cross that we always know that god will always be there for us. Next is the word New Zealand the word New Zealand means that New Zealand is a beautiful place where you can explore have fun and even learn new things in New Zealand.

Team building

Team building have you ever did team building before well today's your day .
Well team building is like were you start to do fun and cool building with a fun teacher well
my teacher Mrs Judd was telling us what to do in building but first we all had to get in groups
of 8 . Next my teacher ask us to start building a tower that is the tall's in the groups then we only
had 12 minutes to start to building. So what you will need for this game is you need some marshmallows and some sketty bolognese sticks and start to do your building with the
marshmallows and  sketty bolognese sticks to hold it.Then next is were you have a straws to play this game you are going to have to need is straws and some tape and some coloured cotton ball.Next you are going to put your tape in the middle of the table.Then you are going to need your straws to suck the
cotton ball to the other side.

Doing art

Doing Art have you ever made art before well guess what me and my group was going
to make some cool fun art at class.Then me and my group started to make something that
says Carry On & Stay Strong.: What you need to make it  is colour paper or maybe print out some cool fun paper too and a pencil and some scissors and some glue sticks and maybe a big paper to stick your colour letters on it then your done then you can put it some where or at home too.

Making Truffles

Have you ever made Truffles before well me and our class made lots of Truffles in class and what we were making it out of was you need the Ingredients what was : 1 x super win biscuits and 1 x can condensed milk and 1/4 of cup of cocoa 3/4 of cup of choc chips next is 1 cup of desiccated coconut then we needed how to make Truffles 1. crush you packet of super wine biscuits - they don't need to be fine crumbs. step 2. sift 1/4 cup of cocoa into a bowl then step 3. Gently mix the biscuits and cocoa together . Next step 5. Add 1 cup of desiccated coconut.Then next is step 6. Gently mix it together.Next you will need to pour in the whole can of condensed milk (mix as you go) Step 8 make small truffles balls then roll it on a plate of desiccated coconut .Then you can now store in the fridge overnight.The you can pack it in a cellophane bags and tie it up with a nice fun ribbon.

When they swim in the sea the other sea animals can come up to them and eat them.When they hatch they get ready to go on there journey to the water an 50% of them die on there journey home then more an more die on there journey an they hide deep were the swede so they don’t get eaten on there journey.Then the little baby turtles grow and grow big and big like a size of Table at home or any were then they can never be Scared of something when Swimming.Next they do the same thing over an over.

The most extreme polyfest day.

On Thursday the 16th of March, The whole of team 5 ( Year 7 & 8’s )  went  on a  Amazing trip to Poly fest. We all had to sit there in our class lines, in the hot sun .

One of my highlights of the day was walking round with my best friends,Drinking yummy smoothies a taking some cool photo’s in the booth with my best friends.

My 2nd highlight for polyfest was learning new things about Polyfest, Eating new things from polyfest that I have never eaten, playing some games, and winning some fans and other prizes.

My 3rd highlight for the day was dancing with my best friends and watching people dance on the stage and showing off their beautiful talents to the audience.

It was my first time at Polyfest, and I think it was Amazing. For all of you who haven’t been you should definitely go there one day.   And if you want to see some of our highlight video just go down an click the link.
