Aneelis Cloze Reading - Number one

It's Saturday morning. Rain, hail or sunshine, I get up early, and get dressed in my rugby league gear: black shorts, green-and-yellow socks, and a bright yellow jersey with green stripes and a big black number 10 on the back.
"Your jersey number 10," said 1 Mum, "but you're my number one!"son 2 get to the grounds, and pasnttly 3 wait to play. Mum whispers in my 4 ear. "Watch the ball all the time 5, son." The whistle blows. The other guys kick the ball. players 6 all run towards it. I hear my 7 Mum's voice. "The ball, Te Hiko – kick 8 the ball!" Where is it? I run. There it is! Then _____9 hear my Mum's voice! "Grab the _____10, son. Go!" I pick it up and run. Mum calls out, "Hold on _____11 the ball, Te Hiko!" I try _____12 pass it to my mates, but _____13 in the way. I tuck it _____14 my arm and run for the _____15. Oops! I'm tackled, and I crash _____16 the ground. I've lost the ball. _____17 scramble to my feet. I've had enough. But Mum's voice _____18 in the air, "Get the ball, !" _____19. There it is! I grab it _____20 run. Suddenly the goal line disappears. I can't hear my Mum _____21 more. I crash to the ground _____22. And then the whistle blows. Too _____23 to score. I've blown it again. I look around for Mum. And _____24 she is, all smiles. The bad Crocodile
One sunny day there was a man who went fishing on his boat when his engine broke down in the middle of nowhere.And then a crocodile came and try to eat him.When the crocodile came out the water the man felt scared and he also felt frightened.But mostly surprised and thought that he was going to break the boat.

On a nice amazing hot day a man want to go for a swim until he sawed a big bad bull that want to go for a swim.When the big bad bull went wild he was starting to get furious.He want to jump into the big cold water because the water started to get hot.

Aneelis Recount Rubric
Last Monday it was a time where we had to run for cross country.
At 1:00 pm we had to line up and go to cross country. I quickly got changed and went into my house colour. I lined up and walked quickly to the courts and sat down on the ground.
It was the year 1 boys to run. They had so much energy in them they were ready to go. Mr Burt clapped the wood and the boys ran off fast. Out in the crowd there were parents and family cheering for their son and daughter hoping they would come 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
Then it was the year 5 girls to run. I was so nervous I was getting goose bumps. Mr Burt said “on your mark get set GO”. He clapped the wood and straight off we were running our hardest. I was so tired sweat was dripping down but I never stopped. I was in the lead I couldn't believe it, I was coming 1st. I was nearly at the finish line. Their was girls behind trying to come 1st. But I was taking the lead.
When we got up to the finished line I was still running. I had a drink of water and sat down watching some other people run. Then we walked back to class we got our bags and shoes and went back home. It was the best day ever at cross country.
